Railing against its origins in sunny, Orange County, California, Bleeding Through specializes in unapologetically dark and fierce metalcore, with elements of melodic death and black metal tossed in for good measure.

Bleeding Through formed in 1999 and released their first album, Dust To Ashes in 2000. The record helped pioneer the genre known as “Metalcore”.  Unlike other Orange County bands, Bleeding Through didn't play pop, ska, hardcore, or even punk, but rather crushing aggro-deathcore that is popular among many post-millennial American post-screamo bands.

After debuting their 2002 album, Portrait of the Goddess, the band signed with New Jersey-based Trustkill Records and expanded their traditional hardcore sound into something more versatile, malevolent, and death metal; Unleashing two well-regarded albums in 2004 with This Is Love, This Is Murderous and in 2006 The Truth. Selling nearly half a Million records worldwide.

In 2008, Bleeding Through released their next album, Declaration which spoke about the trials and tribulations of life on the road and ignited a public feud with Trustkill over unpaid royalties, lack of funding, and release schedules, resulting in a move in 2010 to Oregon-based Rise Records for the band's eponymous sixth album and 2012 follow-up, The Great Fire.

In 2013 Bleeding Through announced that their upcoming tour would be their last before their hiatus with the group's final show occurring at Chain Reaction in Anaheim on August 3, 2014. Much to their fans' surprise, Bleeding Through reported in March 2018 that they had inked a deal with SharpTone Records and released a new album, Love Will Kill All. Unfortunately, after their return the pandemic halted the band in 2020.

Again, out of the ashes, Bleeding Through returned in 2022 with their SharpTone Records EP titled Rage. Following the Rage EP, Bleeding Through is charging back better than ever, playing shows worldwide and reminding people what BT is all about - Pure chaos and emotion.

In 2023 Bleeding Through released a new single, War Time as well as the re-recordings of their classic metalcore anthems, Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire and On Wings Of Lead. Two and a half decades strong Bleeding Through has plenty yet to come.
